Radio Frequency (RF) Contraindications
RF uses thermal electromagnetic energy to heat the dermal layer.
- Active implants: Pacemakers, defibrillators, or permanent metal plates/pins in the treatment area.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Due to a lack of safety data concerning internal thermal shifts on developing foetuses.
- Cancer and tumours: Any active malignancy or history of skin cancer.
- Compromised skin: Open wounds, sores, severe rashes, active infections, or severe inflammatory acne in the treatment zone.
- Sensory disorders: Conditions that cause inability to accurately feel or report heat sensations.
- Uncontrolled medical states: Severe high blood pressure or uncontrolled diabetes.
- Recent cosmetic interventions: Fresh botulinum toxin or synthetic dermal fillers in the target area (wait at least 2 weeks).
Needle-Free Mesotherapy (Electroporation) Contraindications
Electroporation uses gentle electrical pulses to push active liquid serums through the epidermal barrier.
- Electrical device implants: Pacemakers or inner ear electronic implants.
- Pregnancy: Routine precaution for electrical facial equipment.
- Broken or infected skin: Open lesions, severe eczema, or active cold sore outbreaks (herpes simplex) at the application site.
- Epilepsy: History of seizure triggers linked to low-level electrical wave outputs.
- Allergies to specific serums: Known hypersensitivity to the active vitamin or peptide blends used in the infusion protocol.
- Active blood-clotting or haemorrhagic disorders: Conditions associated with fragile capillaries or abnormal bleeding risks.
