Step 2: Lifting Solution

A gentle lifting cream is applied to the brow hairs. This solution breaks down the internal bonds in the hair, making them pliable and easy to reposition. The hairs are carefully brushed into the desired direction — usually upward — and left to process for a set time.

Step 3: Setting Solution

Once the lifting phase is complete, a neutralising or setting solution is applied. This reforms the bonds in the hair in their new position, locking the shape in place. The brow hairs are again combed into position during this stage.

Step 4: Nourishing Treatment

A conditioning oil or serum is applied to the brows to restore moisture and protect the hair after the chemical process. This step is important for keeping the brow hairs healthy and preventing dryness or brittleness.

How Long Does Brow Lamination Last?

Over time, new brow hairs will grow in their natural direction, and the laminated hairs will gradually return to their original pattern.

Aftercare: How to Look After Laminated Brows

Proper aftercare is straightforward but important, especially in the first 24 hours:

• Keep brows dry for 24 hours after the treatment. Avoid washing your face around the brow area, swimming, saunas, and steam rooms during this time.
• Do not touch or rub your brows for the first day. The setting process is still finalising, and disturbing the hairs can alter the result.
• Avoid makeup on the brow area for 24 hours.
• Apply nourishing oil daily — we recommend castor oil or a brow serum — to keep the hairs conditioned and healthy. This makes a real difference to how long the result lasts and how good the hairs feel.
• Brush your brows into place each morning with a clean spoolie. This takes about five seconds and keeps them looking fresh throughout the day.

Who Is Brow Lamination Right For?

Brow lamination works well for a wide range of brow types:

• Unruly brows — if your brow hairs grow in different directions and refuse to stay put, lamination tames them into a smooth, uniform shape.
